Description
Through the Poster contest, Orange County students in grades Kindergarten through 12 are encouraged to submit hand-drawn posters. All artwork should reflect this year’s contest theme: Water is Life. This theme was chosen to get students thinking about our most valuable natural resource – water – and how vital it is for our way of life. Entries for both contests are due April 14, 2018. Free paper is available upon request.
A total of 40 winners will be selected in the Poster Contest. One grand prize winner in grades K - 2nd, 3rd – 5th, 6th – 8th, and 9th – 12th, will receive an iPad Mini! Additionally, teachers who submit their students’ artwork as a batch will be entered in a drawing for a class pizza party with Ricki the Rambunctious Raindrop! All 40 winners – and their parents and teachers – will be invited to attend a special Awards Ceremony with Ricki Raindrop at Discovery Science Center.
