About Us

The Fox Fullerton Theatre is a historic landmark and cultural destination in downtown Fullerton, California, dedicated to preserving one of Orange County’s most iconic movie palaces. Originally opened in 1925, the Fox has played an important role in the community for nearly a century, hosting movies, live entertainment, community events, and cultural experiences.

The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation works to protect and restore the Fox Theatre while bringing culturally significant entertainment and arts initiatives to the greater Orange County community. The historic theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to undergo restoration efforts to preserve its architectural character for future generations.

The Fox Fullerton Theatre is envisioned as a flexible community and entertainment venue capable of hosting concerts, comedy shows, cinema events, musicals and plays, cultural programs, free community events, private events, and other special gatherings. Its mission combines historic preservation with creating opportunities for entertainment, artistic expression, and community connection.

Located in the heart of downtown Fullerton, the Fox continues to serve as an important part of Orange County’s cultural heritage while working toward its future as a vibrant destination for arts, entertainment, and community events.
