Domo, the beloved square-shaped creature with the sharp-toothed grin, has been a staple of Japanese pop culture and internet memes since 1998. Domo’s unique blend of humor and charm has resonated with fans worldwide, making him a global phenomenon in the early 2000’s. Led by Striker Entertainment on behalf of NHK Enterprises, Domo relaunched in North America in March of 2025. Domo reemerged into the pop culture scene by showing up on social media feeds, at favorite retailers, and at live events like Coachella and Warped Tour, instantly reigniting nostalgic fans and cultivating new. This cafe location honors his one-of-a-kind legacy by providing a one-of-a-kind ''Eat, Shop, and Interact'' experience of all ages. ''Domo is more than just a character; he’s a piece of internet history,'' says Izzy Aala, owner of Domo Cafe.
