Driver/Scheduler
The Senior Center is looking for a Driver/Scheduler to oversee our non-emergency medical transportation and senior mobility programs. The Driver/Scheduler is responsible for planning routes of travel, coordinating and scheduling non-emergency medical transportation, and transporting passengers to and from different Community Services locations. Work is performed in accordance with established schedules and safety procedures. The ideal candidate should have ample experience in preparing reports, performing administrative and clerical work, coordinating and scheduling routes, overseeing subordinate transportation staff, and training drivers. The individual in this position must have a great personality, be kind, patient, understanding, courteous, and outgoing, loves working with senior citizens and can develop a relationship with them and their families. This position's work schedule is between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday but may require working some weekend or holiday work assignments.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

Physical Examination:
Employment offers are conditional based, upon the successful completion of a medical examination which may include drug and alcohol screening. Physicals are performed by the City's designated physician at the City's expense.
