Saturday, July 9, 7:30pm The award-winning Fullerton Museum Center is located at 301 N. Pomona Ave., east of Harbor Boulevard, in downtown Fullerton. Hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday, and noon – 8 p.m. Thursday. Admission to the screening is $8 for members of the Fullerton Museum Center, and $10 for the general public. The admission price includes light refreshments and admission to the Shulman exhibit.

The film, “Visual Acoustics: The Modernism of Julius Shulman,” will be screened at 7:30 p.m. in the museum auditorium.
The film is being offered by the museum in conjunction with its current exhibit, “Julius Shulman: Desert Modern,” which runs through Sept. 4. The exhibit focuses on Shulman’s work documenting efforts by architects to marry their designs to the stark landscape in the desert around the Palm Springs area.
Filmed by Eric Bricker and narrated by actor Dustin Hoffman, the movie celebrates the monumental career of Shulman, considered the world’s leading architectural photographer.
Admission to the screening is $8 for members of the Fullerton Museum Center, and $10 for the general public. The admission price includes light refreshments and admission to the Shulman exhibit.
