Who doesn’t love desserts? Pies, cakes, and candies are not only delicious, but also holds cultural significance in the African American Culture.  Come join us to celebrate Black Restaurant Week LA 2025 where we will be featuring ‘Southern Desserts’.  Chef Denise Smith, president of the LA Chapter of the Black Chef’s Association and principal of GeenieBee Catering will be whipping up some delectable desserts utilizing energy efficient natural gas equipment.  Come learn some tips and tricks on making your desserts even better, while satisfying your sweet tooth!

1. Cultural influences of desserts
2. Demonstration of making three different desserts
3. Utility programs, services, identify cost savings and rebates for qualified energy-efficient equipment
