"Shared Visions" exhibit running at Eye Care Center

The Sixth Annual “Shared Visions 2010-2011 International Art Exhibit,” one of only four such art exhibitions of its kind in the United States, will be open to the public at the Eye Care Center at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton from September 21, 2010 through mid-August, 2011.
The display includes 90 works of art by 48 blind and legally blind artists from the U.S., Canada, India and Israel.
“The Shared Visions Art Exhibit provides a gallery venue of blind and legally blind artists, and provides information to the community-at-large about various eye disorders and diseases that cause vision loss,” says Dr. Kevin Alexander, president of the Southern California College of Optometry.
This year’s display is being sponsored for the first time by TLC Laser Eye Center in Fullerton. Located one floor above the Eye Care Center, TLC Laser Eye Center will display artwork from the following Southern California artists:
