Salute to Education Reception

April 17, 3-5 p.m. College of Engineering and Computer Science College There is no charge to attend this event, however, complimentary parking is available for the reception with event reservation. Enter campus from Nutwood Ave./Folina Dr., proceed to the attendant in Lot E, near row 16. An attendant will be positioned near row 16 with a registered guests list. Place the pass provided by the attendance in a visible location on your dashboard. The Fullerton Chamber of Commerce will honor five individuals for outstanding academic achievement during its 2015 Salute to Education reception on Friday, April 17, at 3 p.m., in the College of Engineering and Computer Science Courtyard at California State University, Fullerton.Date and Time

Dr. Raman Unnikrishnan, dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at CSUF, will be presented with the Chamber?s 2015 Educator of the Year Award. Laguna Road School Principal Harold Sullivan will be presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of service and dedication to teaching of our youth.
Kaitlin Kopecki, a freshman at CSUF majoring in radio/TV/film, is one of three students to be honored with a 2015 Young Citizen of the Year award and scholarship. Another Titan honoree is Yvonne Cuaresma, a junior majoring in finance and minoring in human communications. Sunny Hills High School senior Sarah Keung is the third student to receive the Chamber?s scholarship this year. The scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation and the William McGarvey Scholarship Fund.
