Fullerton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with HR Prescriptions will present a comprehensive look at state and federal law that apply to your business. The two hour seminar will focus on state and federal court cases and regulatory changes affect business and how best to apply them.
The special program will take place on Friday, January 17, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce. There is no charge, but reservations are requested.
Among the topics of discussion are:
· An overview of important court cases from 2013;
· New laws and regulations effective in 2014;
· Minimum wage increases
· New protections for immigrants;
· Expanded leaves of absence rules;
· Whistleblower protections;
· Discrimination and retaliation protections; and
· Practical compliance tactics.
