Fullerton College’s highly acclaimed French Film Festival is back for its thirteenth year from April 8-9. Recognized as the “Paris of Orange County,” the event features a cultural hour with complimentary food, music, dance and art starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by screenings of recent French film releases at the Campus Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Visitors will be greeted by Fullerton College students and members of the French Club who have worked to make this event possible. With the purchase of a movie ticket, attendees will enjoy free food tasting from local restaurants such as Crêpes Bonaparte, Crêpes de Paris, Fraise Café, Les Amis, Zombees, Pandor, Moulin, Porto’s and Roscoe’s. Designed to delight enthusiasts of all ages, the French Film Festival began in 2010 as a unique educational opportunity sponsored by the Tournées Film Festival through the French American Cultural Exchange and the Fullerton College Humanities Division’s hard-working staff and faculty. It has since grown into a popular cultural celebration of French life in Orange County. The films that will be played at the festival include: Les Petites Victoires (2023) Rated PG Event parking will be free on the third and fourth floors of the parking structure on Fullerton College Drive. Tickets can be purchased for $10 for the general public and $7 for students on the Eventbrite website or at the Campus Theatre box office. Learn more about the French Film Festival on its website. The French Film Festival is a Two-night festival that begins each night with a cultural event at 6:30 P.M. in the Campus Theater patio area. The cultural event features food, art, and music that represent a little bit of French culture. All Movies begin at 7:30 P.M. in the campus theater. Parking is free at the Fullerton College Parking Structure on the 3rd and 4th floors on both nights of the festival. All films have English subtitlesDate and Time

Wednesday April 9, 2025 | The heartwarming French comedy showcases Alice, the primary school teacher and diligent mayor of the quaint village of Kerguen. Her life takes a chaotic turn with the arrival of Emile, a fiery sixty-year-old who has resolved to conquer his lifelong illiteracy, all while the school is at risk of impending closure. Through humor, resilience and unexpected camaraderie, Alice discovers that even small victories can lead to monumental changes in personal lives and the larger village community. Location
