California State University, Fullerton Free The North Orange County Nonprofit Seminar for Establishing and Running Nonprofit and Exempt Organizations will be held on Thursday, August 13 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Discussion topics will include: sales and use tax for nonprofits, compliance for exempt organizations, employment taxes and nonprofits, property tax exemptions, and regulation of charities. The California State Board of Equalization, California Attorney General’s Office, Franchise Tax Board, and California Taxpayers’ Right Advocates are invited to present at the upcoming event.
