Description
Martyn Dodd of EnergySoft, LLC will discuss residential and non-residential building envelope, lighting & mechanical requirements affecting residential, commercial and high rise-residential new construction under California’s upcoming 2019 Title-24 Energy Efficiency Standards effective January 1, 2020. Changes for the 2019 Standards cover all areas of the code so this will be an important introduction for all disciplines.
At the conclusion of the program, participants:
• Will have an overview understanding of changes in scope, and new and revised mandatory and prescriptive requirements for nonresidential building envelope design in the 2019 Title 24 Energy Standards
• Will have an overview understanding of changes in scope, and new and revised mandatory and prescriptive requirements for nonresidential electric lighting and associated controls in the 2019 Title 24 Energy Standards
• Will have an overview understanding of changes in scope, and new and revised mandatory and prescriptive requirements for nonresidential mechanical systems and associated controls in the 2019 Title 24 Energy Standards
• Will have an understanding of changes in scope and application of 2019 Title 24 Energy Standards as it relates to low-rise residential buildings.
