Description
The program, which is free to the public, will begin at 2 p.m. May 1 in the Conference Center of the Fullerton Main Library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., adjacent to Fullerton City Hall.
Presented by the Public Law Center of Orange County, the program will cover such topics as examples of barriers low-income residents and nonprofit organizations can encounter in attempting to access justice.
Guest speakers will be attorneys Antoinette Balta and Jina Kim, both legal fellows with Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps.
The Public Law Center, a pro bono law firm, provides free civil legal services, including counseling, individual representation, community education, and strategic litigation and advocacy.
