The Small Business Forum is intended to help facilitate the exchange of information between the government and the small business community through partnerships with small business organizations and trade and industry groups.
· Exchange information regarding programs, services, resources, and assistance available to small business owners.
· Identify problems that small businesses experience in accessing services.
· Discuss solutions to improve the level of service rendered to small business owners.
· Build and strengthen relations with small business resource organizations, trade, and industry groups.
Research indicates that small businesses rely on individuals who they believe understand their specific business situation or need. However, small business owners often struggle to get the information they need that can help their business succeed. Most small businesses are not aware of the programs, services, and assistance the government has to offer.
Who Should Attend:
· State, Federal, and Local Government organizations that provide services to small businesses;
· Trade and industry groups;
· Small business resource providers.
