‘Forever Plaid’ is an up beat charmer and a guaranteed smash hit. A quartet of high-school chums dreams of recording an album ended in death in a collision with a bus filled with Catholic schoolgirls on their way to see the Beatles’ American debut on The Ed Sullivan Show. The play begins with the Plaids returning from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory. Featuring music of the “close harmony guy groups” popular in the 1950’s and includes ‘Three Coins in a Fountain’, ‘Chain Gang’, ‘Heart and Soul’, ‘Undecided’, ‘Love is a Many- Splendored Thing’, and many more. You’ll be singing along, grinning from ear to ear and rooting for this loveable quartet’s one chance to perform their show.

The book and original direction are by Stuart Ross; music and musical arrangements, vocal arrangements and musical direction by James Raitt. Presented through special arrangement with Music Theater International. Under the direction of Ray Buffer.
