Planning for your exit starts now. This workshop will discuss the process, methods of monetizing your sweat equity and good will you have built and invested over the years.
The workshop will address the issues you need to know to make a successful transition including:
* Action items prior the sale or transition
* Assets vs. Stock sales; Business Broker vs. Investment Banker
* ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan )
* Tax, Legal and Financial issues and planning
* Due Diligence
* Investment planning for Income after the sale
Robert Corbin, CPA, MST, CM&AA and Mandy Woo, CFP ®, MST present this workshop. Robert is a senior Partner with the Windes. and has over 23-year experience in public accounting. Robert is specialized in business tax planning, business transactional matters like mergers and acquisitions, exit planning, startups, structuring, and SALT.
Mandy Woo, is certified financial planner and franchisee owner/advisor with 17-year experience in financial planning and wealth management. She works closely with CPAs, Estate Planning attorneys to help SBOs transfer and preserve wealth. Mandy has been a SCORE Volunteer since 2006.
