the Fullerton Community Center will hold a free educational seminar Friday, May 4, that will explore the ins and outs of providing for powers of attorney.
The program will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the center, which is temporarily housed at St. Mary’s Church, 400 W. Commonwealth Ave., during construction of a new community center.
The seminar, sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association’s 2012 Law Day “Outreach to Seniors,” will cover such topics as the differences between durable vs. nondurable and general vs. limited powers of attorney, selection of an agent, what types of powers can agents have, and what is needed to terminate a powers of attorney.
The program is free. Further information may be obtained by calling the Community Center at (714) 738-6305.
