Temporary road closures and "no parking" restrictions will be in force around the Fullerton High School campus Monday, July 4, when the City of Fullerton presents its 22nd Annual Community Fireworks Show and Festival.
The festival will be held from 5-9:30 p.m. at the Fullerton High School Stadium, which is located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Berkeley Avenue and Lemon Street.
Admission is free.
Entertainment, a live band, games and food booths will mark the event, which will be topped off by an aerial fireworks display set to music by Pyrospectaculars of Rialto at 9 p.m.
Two streets will be closed temporarily on the Fourth for the event: Lemon, between Chapman Avenue and east Valley View Drive, from 3:30-10 p.m.; and Berkeley, between Chapman and Harbor Boulevard, from 3:30-10:30 p.m.
On July 4, the east side of Pomona Avenue, between Chapman and Union Avenue, will be open to through traffic from midnight July 3 through midnight July 4, and parking will be allowed on the west side of the street only.
On-street parking will also be prohibited on Berkeley.
Free parking will be available at the Plummer Parking Structure, located at the southwest corner of Lemon and Chapman; the Wilshire Parking Structure, located on Wilshire Avenue, one block east of Harbor Boulevard; and the North Justice Center, 1275 N. Berkeley, west of Harbor.
