Fullerton residents, particularly those who live in the western part of the city are invited to attend a public meeting Wednesday, Nov. 2, to discuss ideas and matters of concern for residents of the area.
City officials attending the “Focus on West Fullerton” meeting include City Manager Joe Felz, Police Capt. Dan Hughes and Community Development Director Al Zelinka.
Zelinka said the idea for the meeting grew out of citizen comments received in the bi-monthly “Dialogues with your Community Development Director,” which he has been conducting this year at Grace Ministries in West Fullerton and at the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce.
“The purpose of the Nov. 2 meeting is to have a productive dialogue between West Fullerton community members and City staff about quality of life issues,” and to explore approaches, ideas and solutions in relation to those issues,” Zelinka said.
He added the meeting will be the first of several “dialogues between the community and members of the City of Fullerton team as we work together to improve the quality of life for our West Fullerton residents and the community, as a whole.”
Persons requiring special accommodations to attend the meeting are asked to notify Zelinka prior to Nov. 2.
