City of Fullerton's Summer Health and Wellness Fair

The City of Fullerton will provide a free health fair to families on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fullerton Community Center. The event will offer a wide range of free health screenings and classes. Door prizes will be given away.

Guests can receive free health screenings and learn how to live longer, better, and happier by receiving new ideas to improve one’s lifestyle and sense of well-being. Free screenings available at the event will include:

• Blood pressure – by volunteer nurses
• Body fat ratio/BMI (body mass index) – by Prospect Medical/Gateway Urgent Care Center
• Bone density – by Placentia Linda Hospital
• Chiropractic – by Joe Family Chiropractic
• Dental health – by Elite Dental Care
• Diabetes/blood glucose – by HealthCare Partners
• Diabetes /cholesterol education – by volunteer nurses
• Grip strength – by Prospect Medical Group
• Hearing – by Anaheim Hearing Center
• Nutrition – by the Orange County Health Care Agency
• Pharmaceutical medication evaluations – by the Orange County Health Care Agency
• Pulmonary function – by St. Jude Medical Center

A variety of local non-profit agencies and businesses will be on-site to share information about their programs, services, and products including fitness & wellness, mental health, weight loss, pain management, and medical insurance. Find out what’s new in alternative medicine, nutrition, organic foods, going green and so much more! A Kid’s Health Zone will also be available.
