The Fullerton Public Library presents the Fullerton Reads Program, where the community is invited to come together by reading Orange County: A Personal History by Gustavo Arellano and by engaging in local history during a month of special events.
Local author and Cal State Fullerton Professor, Dr. Benjamin Cawthra introduces us to the great jazz photographers, their struggles, hustles, styles, and creative visions. We also meet their legendary subjects, such as Duke Ellington, and Dizzy Gillespie. Dr. Cawthra shows us the connections between the photographers, art directors, and record producers who crafted a look for jazz that would sell magazines and albums.
