DESCRIPTION:The popular weekly outdoor "Fullerton Market" will return to downtown Fullerton\n\nThursday\, April 7\, offering farm-fresh produce\, arts and crafts\, handmade apparel\, live\n\nentertainment\, food booths\, and activities for young people.\n\nNow into its 20th year\, the market\, located in the Downtown Plaza on Wilshire\n\nAvenue\, between Harbor Boulevard and Pomona Avenue\, will be open from 4-8:30 p.m.\n\nThursdays through Oct. 27\, when it will close for the winter.\n\nAdmission to the market is free.\n\nFullerton Market "creates an atmosphere similar to a European-style open air\n\nmarket\, where shoppers meet their neighbors and get to know their community a little\n\nbetter\, as well as find lots of bargains\," said Ashley Glass\, special events coordinator for\n\nthe city.\n\nIn addition to the produce vendors\, the market will feature a live band each\n\nThursday. The bands\, which will range from rock to country\, will perform from 6:30-8:30\n\np.m.\n\nKicking off the market's 2011 season will be the band "Los Fabulocos."\n\n"Los Fabulocos\," featuring Kid Ramos\, plays songs about complex themes\, such\n\nas love\, family and home. Group members are James Barrios bass and vocals\; Jesus\n\nCuevas\, accordion and vocals\; Mike Molina\, drums\; and Kid Ramos\, guitar\, bajo sexto\n\nand vocals.\n\nAlong with the entertainment\, the market will feature a beer and wine garden for\n\nadults and a Kids' Korner\, which will offer special activities to keep children happy while\n\ntheir parents shop.\n\nDuring warm weather\, the Plaza's pop jet fountain provides a great cooling-off\n\nspot for youngsters\, who are welcome to wear their swim suits to the market.\n\nApplications are still available for local farmers\, artisans\, merchants and\n\ncommunity organizations wishing to operate booths in the market.\n\nThe market is open to certified farmers\, artists and crafters\, Fullerton businesses\,\n\nnonprofit organizations and food vendors. Applications must be completed at least\n\nseven days prior to the desired date of participation in the market.\n\nBooth applications and further information may be obtained at the Fullerton\n\nMuseum Center\, 301 N.
