DESCRIPTION:OC Parks invites families to enjoy the Kids' Fishing Derby at Clark Regional Park! This free fishing derby is designed to teach children how to fish\, while giving them an opportunity to catch a few from Clark Regional Park's stocked lake.\n\n\n\nChildren ages 5 to 15 years old are welcome to participate\, and trophies will be awarded for the biggest fish caught. Whether casting a pole for the first time or a seasoned angler\, the derby gives the community a chance to enjoy a day of fresh air and fishing.\n\n\n\nPlease bring your own fishing poles. A limited amount of bait will be provided. The lake will be stocked with 2\,000 lbs. of catfish and there will be a five-fish limit. All minors must be accompanied by an adult\, and adults will not be permitted to fish until the event is over.\n\n\n\nRegistration is required at the OC Parks check-in table on the day of the event. Food will be available for purchase along with free hot dogs.
