He is the author of numerous articles and has lectured for local and national organizations\, as well as abroad.  He served on the Executive Committee for the California State Bar Intellectual Property Section and recently completed a term on the California State Bar Federal Courts Committee. Mr. Shimokaji has been a member of the editorial board for The Journal of The Association of University Technology Managers. He is admitted to the California Bar and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
