SUMMARY:Orange County Jobs Now Summit
DESCRIPTION:The Orange County Jobs Now Summit is bringing together experts from California and throughout the nation to discuss the economic factors that influence job creation.\n\n\n\nDuring this difficult time\, transportation infrastructure projects are helping to create and sustain much-needed jobs. We will share information about how Measure M2-funded transportation infrastructure projects are creating or sustaining jobs now throughout Orange County and to formulate other solutions-based ideas to expedite infrastructure projects for America's future.\n\n\n\nInvited Participants:\n\n	\n Honorable Victor Mendez\, Federal Highway Administrator\n	\n Honorable Gary Miller\, U.S. House of Representatives\n	\n Lucy Dunn\, CEO and President of Orange County Business Council and California Transportation Commissioner\n	\n Will Kempton\, CEO of Orange County Transporation Authority\n	\n Honorable Paul Glaab\, Vice Chairman of Orange County Transportation Authority\n	\n Honorable Carolyn Cavecche\, Director of Orange County Transportation Authority and Mayor of Orange\n	\n James Earp\, Executive Director of California Alliance for Jobs and California Transporation Commissioner\n	\n Jim Adams\, Representative of Los Angeles / Orange County's Building and Construction Trades Council\n	\n Sam Hassoun\, Executive Director of Associated General Contractors of California\n\n\n	RSVP by August 24 at www.octa.net/jobs
