DESCRIPTION:Join elected officials\, community partners and Southern California's premier homebuilders for the 5th Annual "Builders for Babies" competition to benefit HomeAid Orange County's Essentials  Diaper Drive. Essentials is a month-long countywide campaign to collect critical baby items such as diapers\, baby food\, wipes and other toiletry items for families with young children who are experiencing homelessness. \n\n\n\nAt the Builders for Babies event\, teams of homebuilders will compete to build the best homes and structures made entirely of diapers. Hundreds of volunteers will be onsite to assist in loading UPS trucks and packing palettes of donated items which will benefit 23 shelters for families experiencing homelessness\, including Precious Life Shelter (Los Alamitos)\, Families Forward (Irvine)\, South County Outreach and HomeAid Family CareCenter (Orange). This festive event will include music\, food\, and booths and is open to the public.
