DESCRIPTION:The Fullerton Mayor's Prayer Breakfast is patterned after the National Prayer Breakfast\, which is held annually in Washington\, D.C. with the intention to pray for our city\, state\, and national leaders from a Christian Perspective.\n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker: Dr. Maryalyce Jeremiah.\n\nDr. Maryalyce Jeremiah's experience spans over 35 years of collegiate coaching\, administration\, and public speaking. She has become a sought-after motivational speaker and has inspired a variety of groups with her upbeat\, positive seminars through her organization\, High Places. Dr. Jeremiah has motivated countless athletes and professionals to set high goals and pursue them with a  belief system that is built for success. Her ethical approach to coaching highly talented athletes has made her one of the most highly respected coaches and speakers in the country.\n\n\n\nMayor of Fullerton: Mayor F. Richard Jones\, M.D.\n\nMayor Jones was elected to his first four-year term on the Fullerton City Council in November 1996\, and re-elected in December 2000 and December 2004. He served as Mayor from 1999-2001\, and as Mayor Pro Tem in 1998-99. Mayor Jones represents the City on the Fullerton Investmen Advisory Committee and the Independent Cities Risk Management Authority. He is the City's alternate representative on the North Orange County Cities Transit Assessment Study.\n\nMayor Jones' community affiliations include the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce\, of which he is a past president\, and the Fullerton Rotary Club.
