DESCRIPTION:As part of the CSUF Gianneschi Summer School for Nonprofits\, there will be a free tax seminar sponsored by: Michelle Steel\, Vice Chair\, State Board of Equalization.\n\n\n\nIf you are responsible for a nonprofit or faith-based organization\, you won't want to miss a free tax seminar designed to provide you with all the information you need to know about your tax obligations.\n\n\n\nSeminar: 9:00 to 4:00 p.m.\, LUNCH: 12:25 to 1:45 p.m. - off-site\, no-host.\n\n\n\nInvited to Present:\n\n  State Board of Equalization\;\n\n  Internal Revenue Service\;\n\n  Franchise Tax Board\;\n\n  Employment Development Department\;\n\n  Office of Attorney General\;\n\n\n\nPresentations Include:\n\n  Property Tax Exemptions\;\n\n  Sales and Use Taxes for Nonprofit Organizations\;\n\n  Compliance for Existing Exempt Organizations\;\n\n  Employment Taxes and Nonprofit Organizations\;\n\n  Regulation of Charities and Fundraisers\;\n\n  IRS Form 990\;\n\n\n\nAttendance is free\, but advance registration for this session is REQUIRED. Parking on campus is $8 per day (cash only\, exact change appreciated).\n\n\n\nThis seminar qualifies for 5 continuing education credits. To receive credits\, participants must participate in the entire program.
